We have an exciting opportunity for an E‑Procurement and EDI Specialist within a dynamic, fast‑paced, and innovative E‑Business team. In this role, you will drive the growth of the E‑Business function, overseeing the development and maintenance of platforms that deliver efficient and reliable purchasing solutions. A key focus will be supporting customers in digitising and optimising their automated procurement processes.
Reporting to the Head of Wurth Australia Academy, your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the conception of E-Procurement and EDI solutions and acting as an interface between customers, key account managers and internal stakeholders
- Overseeing the management of customer E-Business solutions as well as maintaining and providing electronic catalogues for our customers
- Setting up key account customers with specific E-Shop configuration
- Supervising the development, preparation and provision of customer specific instruction manuals and guides for key account customers
- Development work with, but not limited to, cXML, HTML, EDI-FACT
- Automating the creation of structured electronic catalogues (BMEcat, pricat, DATANORM, etc.) while maintaining and service existing electronic catalogues (cXML, OCI).
- Creation and maintenance of existing EDI connections within S2P/B2B platforms (SAP BN/Ariba, Coupa, etc.)
- Liaising with the Wurth Group international support teams to replicate and customise EDI templates
- Testing EDI connections with customers prior to going live
- Providing ad-hoc general administration support – e.g. creating and maintaining documentation
Key to your success:
- An energetic and friendly nature that is highly customer-service-focused!
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a "can do” attitude
- Exceptional communication skills – You can present complex concepts to all levels of management
- Exposure to EDI systems e.g. Coupa, Ariba, etc.
- Exposure to middleware or data convertors is advantageous
- You understand the value of data and have a data-aware mindset
- Strong commercial focus to deliver sales results
- Well versed with MS Office Suite and experience with SAP would be advantageous
- High attention to detail
- An ability to prioritise your work in a fast-paced environment
