Role : Application consulting & quality assurance (Speedy Consultant)

Introduction:

We would propose a hybrid office regulation of 60% (3 days in Pune office, 2 days work from home). We are seeking a consultant role (with 5-7 years’ experience) with strong expertise in application consulting & quality assurance to support our SFA (Salesforce automation) - critical applications and help ensure service reliability, incident resolution, and continuous quality improvement. This role requires a proactive professional who can work closely with business users, global teams, technical teams, and external partners to maintain application stability and improve support processes and doing projects with new business partners.

Your job’s key responsibilities are:

  • Provide day-to-day application II support for Speedy family of applications (SpeedyTouch, SpeedyLead etc)
  • Monitor application performance, identify issues, and ensure timely incident resolution.
  • Perform root cause analysis for recurring problems and the incidents raised by customers.
  • Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and business teams for issue resolution and service improvements.
  • Support release validation, smoke testing, regression testing activities.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, support processes, and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Prepare and maintain support documentation, SOPs, knowledge base articles, and issue logs.
  • Track defects, incidents, and service requests using ticketing and quality management tools.
  • Provide user support to the business partners level 1 support team, communicating with them and providing training where needed.
  • Participate to new implementation projects as business consultant.

Preferred Technical & behavioral skills:

Must-have criteria:

  • Good knowledge of spoken & written English.
  • Strong experience in application consulting in enterprise or business applications
  • Good understanding of Quality Assurance & Quality control principles and testing processes.
  • Experience in incident management, service support environments
  • Strong capability to support customers with application-related query resolution, including understanding user issues, identifying root causes, and providing clear functional or technical guidance.
  • Experience in handling user queries, service requests, and support tickets with a customer focused and solution-oriented approach.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, understand business scenarios, and translate issues into actionable technical or support tasks.
  • Familiarity with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of SQL for basic query analysis and data validation.
  • Understanding of release management, change management, and production support.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with ITIL-based support processes.
  • Exposure to test case preparation, execution, and defect tracking.
  • Knowledge of application monitoring tools and dashboards.
  • Experience working in consulting or client-facing environments.
  • Understanding of business process support in enterprise landscapes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in Application Consulting, Quality Assurance, or a related consultant role.
  • Certifications in ITIL, quality management, or testing are an advantage.
