Introduction for position

Backend developer (4-6 years) with Java & Spring boot framework skillset who thrives in a hands-on technical role with a focus on owning the quality of the code and applications he/she develops. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the end-to-end delivery of features and systems, ensuring high standards of quality, performance, and maintainability throughout the development lifecycle. Your tasks

• Sound knowledge on Java and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot or Quarkus.
• Confident in using GitHub and/or Gitea for code management.
• Confident handling of modern development environments such as IntelliJ
• CI/CD processes -
• Practical experience with Jenkins
• Experience with implementation and management of CI/CD pipelines
• Ensuring Code quality and carrying out code reviews.
• Support for migration of existing applications to modern platform such as Openshift
• Softskills – Analytical thinking and the ability to solve complex problems efficiently.
• High motivation for continuous development and learning new technologies.
• Independent working style and ability to approach tasks proactively.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with frontend developers and designers.

Your profile

• Knowledge on Server based applications
• Experience with the development and operation of server-based applications, ideally on Wildfly/JBoss
• Containerization and orchestration
• Knowledge of building and managing container-based applications
• Basic knowledge on PIM (Product information management system)
• Experience with Openshift or similar Container Orchestration platforms
• Familiar with Jira & Confluence
