Role: SAP SD Consultant

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive SAP SD Consultant with 3-4 years of hands-on expertise in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module implementation, support, and enhancement projects and SAP rollout programs across international business units. The ideal candidate will work as a team player for Wurth Group Roll outs of SAP SD module, collaborate with business stakeholders, and drive end-to-end SAP SD solution delivery aligned with organizational goals.

The candidate should possess strong functional knowledge in Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, integration with other SAP modules, stakeholder management, and should work as an individual in Roll out and support projects.

Key Responsibilities

SAP SD Functional Leadership

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into SAP SD solutions.
• Configure SAP SD processes including:

• Sales Order Processing
• Pre-sales and After-sales
• Pricing
• Billing
• Credit Management
• Output Determination
• Availability Check (ATP)
• Consignment
• Returns and Rebate Processes

• Ensure harmonization and standardization of Order-to-Cash processes across regions.
• Support localization requirements while minimizing template deviations.
• Support data migration, testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities.
• Provide support for L2/L3 support activities, incident handling, and issue resolution within defined SLAs.

Team Management

• Drive team collaboration and ensure timely closure of project tasks, incidents, and change requests.
• Collaborate with functional and disciplinary manager and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure high-quality documentation including functional specifications, test scripts, and training materials.

Integration & Support

• Work closely with SAP MM, FI, WM/EWM, and development teams for end-to-end process integration.
• Manage incident resolution and root cause analysis.
• Ensure smooth production support and issue resolution within SLA timelines.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes.
• Strong Pricing experience
• Hands-on experience in SAP SD configuration and customization.
• Experience in at least 1-2 full-cycle SAP implementations.
• Strong understanding of integration points with MM, FI, WM/EWM, and Data migration.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of IDocs, interfaces, and EDI processes.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-4 years of relevant experience in SAP SD.
• Experience in global support or rollout projects.
• Exposure to Agile or SAP Activate methodologies.
• SAP SD Certification preferred.
• Experience in client-facing consulting roles.
