For our international Würth Lifecycle Management (WLM) team, based on the Atlassian ecosystem, we are looking for a Product Owner – WLM & IT Service Manager. The team operates according to a model that combines Agile/Scrum and product thinking with Service Management principles (ITIL/ITSM), with the goal of developing scalable solutions while ensuring operational stability and the continuous evolution of services.
In this context, the selected candidate will be responsible for driving the WLM product, managing and prioritizing the backlog, and defining the roadmap, ensuring maximum business value. Over time, the role will evolve toward broader responsibility integrating product ownership and service management, with the aim of ensuring operational sustainability, service quality, and alignment with ITSM standards.
Responsibilities
- Define the product vision, roadmap, and priorities for the WLM domain
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, technical feasibility, and operational impact
- Translate business needs into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Lead requirements engineering activities, ensuring clarity and quality of requirements
- Collaborate with IT, development, support teams, and stakeholders to ensure effective delivery
- Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, release planning, and solution validation
- Coordinate dependencies with other roles such as Process Owners, Support, Technical Experts, and Project Managers
- Promote the continuous improvement of processes, features, and user experience
- Ensure alignment between product development and ITIL/ITSM principles
- Contribute to service governance and the improvement of incidents, changes, and service requests
- Support the creation of an integrated model between product evolution and operations
Requirements
- Degree in IT, Engineering, Business Informatics, or equivalent experience
- roven experience as a Product Owner, IT Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, or similar role
- Experience in requirements engineering, process analysis, and stakeholder management
- Good knowledge of the product lifecycle in IT environments
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Excellent knowledge of the Atlassian suite
- Good understanding of ITSM and ITIL principles
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Willingness to travel to Germany
Nice to have:
- Experience with Jira Service Management and Atlassian Assets
- ITIL Foundation certification
- Experience in service governance or system integration environments
- Scrum certification or knowledge of Scrum practices (e.g. Scrum Master)
- Good knowledge of the German language
