Introduction for position

The SAP SuccessFactors / SAP HCM Consultant is responsible for implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support activities across SAP SuccessFactors and SAP HCM modules. The role requires strong functional knowledge, execution capability, stakeholder collaboration, and the ability to independently handle structured operational and configuration tasks aligned with business requirements and organizational standards.

Your tasks

Key Responsibilities

SAP SuccessFactors Responsibilities

  • Lead implementation/rollout and deep knowledge for SAP SuccessFactors modules such as:  
    • Employee Central (EC) & Onboarding (ONB)
    • Special Knowledge: Recruiting/Smart Recruiters
  • Perform configuration activities including:
    • Business Rules
    • Workflows
    • Foundation Objects
    • Role-Based Permissions (RBP)
    • MDF Objects
    • Picklists and Templates
    • Reporting
  •  
  • Lead workshops in solution discussions with business stakeholders.
  • Support data migration, testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities.
  • Implementation of integrations, reportings, and system validation activities.
  • Prepare and create functional documentation, user guides, and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Preparation and analysis for the development of the HR IT strategy
  • Provide support for L2/L3 support activities, incident handling, and issue resolution within defined SLAs.

 

SAP HCM Responsibilities

  • Advise SAP HCM operational and configuration activities across modules such as:
    • Personnel Administration (PA)
    • Organizational Management (OM)
    • Integration
  • Configuration of changes, testing, and process enhancements.
  • Lead in rollout activities, system support, and business process execution.
  • Coordinate with functional and technical teams for issue analysis and resolution.

Your profile

Required Skills

Functional Skills

  • Knowledge of HR lifecycle processes and employee data management in SAP SuccessFactors and SAP HCM business processes.
  • Ability to conduct requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and translate business needs into functional solution designs
  • Familiarity with implementation and support methodologies.
  • Understanding of reporting and analytics concepts.

Technical / System Skills 

  • SAP SuccessFactors and SAP HCM configuration knowledge
  • Business Rules, Workflows, RBP, MDF
  • Data upload and validation activities
  • Testing and defect management
  • MS Excel, documentation, and reporting tools
  • Support release updates and perform impact analysis on configurations
  • Experience with SuccessFactors Addons and Integrations

Qualification 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, HR, or related field.
  • 3–4 years of relevant experience in SAP SuccessFactors and SAP HCM.
  • SAP certification is preferred.
